I just don’t get it how people come up with these great themes…
I have been trying to get into web development and design for like half a year now, and every time I see a beautiful website or a theme I try to see how the creators and designers of them come up with such ideas and designs.
How do you come up with the basic vision for a theme? How do you start the first steps in the process of WordPress or other platform theme creation?
Do you make a sketch on a piece of paper or just start developing it freestyle and your creativity tells you what to do?

A friend of mine recommended this and I have been looking into it. I saw his and it has a very sleek design that I like. I liked the post about it and probably will go this route.
